** The Original Pocket Heat ** No French knock-offs here! **

Turn your device into a faux heater which will do its best to heat you up using nothing more than pixels and sound waves.

Fire up this app and watch as the coils heat up, and start to hum. Flip the switch to high and make the coils glow a satisfyingly bright orange but be careful not to bump the screen or you may burn your hand, though in return, youll get a satisfying sizzle!

If you are feeling brave today, kick it into Turbo mode to get as much out of the phone as possible! The heating fan kicks into high gear and the coils pulse almost getting white hot!

This new version is best suited to the following:
• Fooling non-smartphone users into believing you carry a portable heater in your pocket.
• Not fooling Google superphone users.
• Safely teaching your kids not to touch hot surfaces unless they like to "feel the burn."
• Illustrating to other developers how to defend your trademarks from copycats.
• For a legitimate take on heating apps, take a look at iThermo and Got Heat? Those are nice!!

To all the negative comments - the app used to create heat by using the GPS, accelerometer and other things. This is no longer the case as Apple would not allow that functionality in this instance. We apologize for the confusion, but our descriptions and updates have always told what the app does.

Pros and cons of Pocket Heat app for iPhone and iPad

Pocket Heat app good for

I dont know why it doesnt work for some people but for me it works. It doesnt like put your hand on fire or anything . To me it works pretty well.
If u press the info button it even says it doesnt really heat up ur iPod its all in ur head and it will make you think it heating up so yeah
this sucks
It heated up my iPod pretty well, but only near the edges. It looks like a scam, but it works, i was just dissapointed that the app drained so much battery.
I was hoping that my 1st gen ipod touch would at least turn a bit warm, but it didnt, even after five minutes on turbo.
After reading the comments, I now understand why people believe in global warming. Wow. Great app. Thanks!

Some bad moments

Doesnt heat up, they explain why in description. Waste of ur 99 cents
Guys,if you want to get warm then use Hand warmers to put in your gloves. The info button says its fake.
This is a flipping rip off I wasted my money on this piece of crap
dont get this it just says that it heats but it doesnt it admits it when you actually buy it it should be free wut a rip off
It doesent warm your hands at all the most stupid thing that u could spend your money on.
I didnt buy the app in December for an animation of a heater. :-(
